Walking across the 3.6 km Amanohashidate sandbar takes about 70 minutes,
but by bicycle it’s only around 20 minutes!

and each offers different bicycle types and rental options.

Tango Kairiku Kotsu Rental Bicycles | Most Convenient with One-Way Drop-Off

The most popular option is the rental bicycles operated by Tango Kairiku Kotsu, which also runs the sightseeing boats.

You can rent bikes at both the Amanohashidate Pier on the Monju side and the Ichinomiya Pier on the Fuchu side,
and the biggest advantage is that you can drop them off on either side.

Rental fees are 400 yen for 2 hours, then 200 yen for each additional hour.
There are also value sightseeing tickets that combine bikes with sightseeing boats and the cable car.

Kasamatsu Park and Amanohashidate

For example, you can cycle from Monju to Ichinomiya,
then take the cable car up to Kasamatsu Park and enjoy the spectacular view.

On the way back, you can board a sightseeing boat at Ichinomiya Pier and cruise back to Monju.

Or, you can start from Ichinomiya, cycle to Monju,
and then head up to Amanohashidate Viewland on the south side—another great course.
